First Globally Recognized Standard to Industrial Safety of Cold Chain Forum
Cold chain management becomes an important component of the supply chain and it is commonly used not only in food industry, but also pharmaceutical, chemical and floral industries. With supply chain becoming more complex, the consequential risk exposure is growing.
The raising concern for food safety risks associated with frozen food in the recent years has triggered the need for a management system on cold chain. "PAS 1018:2017, Indirect, temperature-controlled refrigerated delivery services. Land transport of refrigerated parcels with intermediate transfer" ("PAS 1018") for refrigerated & chilled parcel delivery services was therefore issued in 2017. It has become the first international standard on cold chain management in the world and is expected to be transformed into ISO international standards in year 2020.
This seminar aims to provide a platform for the industry to exchange information and view on current and important food safety issues in Hong Kong. Hot topics such as cold chain management and FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 will be covered in the seminar.
