FSSC 22000 is the management system standard for food safety (FSMS) that is aligned to internationally recognized best practice, and through ISO 22000:2018 as its basis, makes use of the ISO high level structure. FSSC 22000 helps organizations to provide safe food by proactively improving their FSMS performance.
In this course you will gain the required skills to conduct a baseline review of your organization’s current position and implement the key principles of FSSC 22000. Using a step-by-step approach, you’ll learn how to develop an implementation plan, create necessary documentation and monitor your FSMS Plan.

Delegates should obtain a copy of FSSC 22000 v6 before taking this course.
Delegates may also obtain a copy of ISO 22000:2018, Food safety management systems — Requirements for any organization in the food chain.
Delegates may also obtain the relevant ISO 22002 Prerequisite Programmes on Food Safety relevant to their food industry sector.

Notes:
- This training content will be delivered via BSI’s Connected Learning Live Platform as a virtual classroom with the BSI tutor. This will provide the delegate with the flexibility of attending it from the convenience of home or office, without travelling to BSI facility. A stable internet connection, headset with USB connection, a quiet and suitable work area. In advance of the training a ‘testing room’ will be provided for delegates to confirm their hardware works and that they can fully participate in the training.
- Examination will be conducted online via an e-assessment platform 'Questionmark'. Invigilation will be done through delegate’s webcam and microphone.
