Do you already have good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 requirements, and the key principles of a QMS? If so, this course is for you.
Using a step-by-step approach, you’ll be guided through auditing an organization’s processes in relation to ISO 9001 and, over three days, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills required to undertake and lead a successful QMS audit. You’ll acquire the knowledge and skills to plan, conduct, report and follow-up a QMS audit that establishes conformity and enhances overall organizational performance.

Who should attend?
Anyone with the need to audit an organization’s ISO 9001:2015 QMS, and has met the prerequisites for attending.
Prerequisites:
(Essential) You are expected to have the following prior knowledge:
a) Management systems
• The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle
• The core elements of a management system and the interrelationship between top management responsibility, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement, review and improvement
b) Quality management
• The fundamental concepts and the seven quality management principles
• The relationship between quality management and customer satisfaction
c) ISO 9001
• Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001 and the commonly used quality management terms and definitions
d) Management systems audit
• Knowledge of management systems audit through satisfactory completion of a CQI and IRCA Certified Lead Auditor Training course (or acceptable alternative) in another discipline
In addition, you must have successfully completed a CQI and IRCA Certificated (or acceptable alternative) Lead Auditor Training course prior to attending this course. If not, it is recommended that you complete the ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor (QMS) Training course first.
You should already have a good knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements, and the key principles of a QMS. If not, we strongly recommend you attend our ISO 9001:2015 Requirements course, or equivalent.
What will I learn?
On successful completion, you’ll have the knowledge and skills to perform first, second and third party audits of quality management systems against ISO 9001, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021, as applicable.

• Explain the purpose of a QMS, of quality management systems standards and the business benefits of improved performance of the quality management system
Skills:
• Plan, conduct, report and follow-up an audit of a quality management system to establish conformity (or otherwise) with ISO 9001 and in accordance with ISO 19011, and ISO/IEC 17021, as applicable
