BS 0:2021 sets out the principles of standardization, encompassing development, publication, maintenance and application of British Standards.

This document:

BS 0 sets out the principles of standardization used by BSI, as the UK's National Standards Body.
The principles also encompass the UK’s participation in international and European standardization.
BS 0 should be used by those involved in the process of developing and publishing British Standards.
The principles outlined do not include the rules and procedures of other standardization bodies.
