Understanding and Implementing an AI System Impact Assessment - International

Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing how we live, work, and interact with technology. It has the potential to bring about incredible advancements and benefits to society.  However, with great power comes great responsibility. As AI systems become more prevalent and powerful, it's essential that we understand and manage their impact on individuals, communities, and society as a whole. This is where AI impact assessments come into play.

An AI impact assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of how an AI system may affect various aspects of our lives, including privacy, security, fairness, and ethics. It involves analyzing the potential risks, benefits, and unintended consequences of deploying AI technologies in different contexts.

This course will provide you with the understanding and tools to conduct an AI system impact assessment, either in isolation or as part of an ISO/IEC 42001:12023 AI management system.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites, however it will be useful for delegates to read the standard before attending the course. 

Pedagogical objectives

  • Understand what is needed to develop an AI system impact analysis process
  • Understand key terms and definitions associated with AI system impact analysis
  • Deliver the implementation of AI system impact assessments
  • Discuss the concept of AI system impact assessments with key AI stakeholders

These training modules are eligible to the subsidizing by the public institutions in France (OPCO);

*Each delegate receives a training convention after the enrolment.

**Please note that for the public sessions, you have until 48h before the start of the course to confirm your enrolment. For the in-house sessions, the deadline would be of two weeks prior to the start of the course.
