Susan Taylor Martin se incorporó al Consejo y fue nombrada Consejera Delegada en enero de 2021. Susan ha dirigido una serie de negocios de información, publicación y software, primero en Reuters y luego en Thomson Reuters. Más recientemente, como Presidenta de su Global Legal Business con sede en Nueva York, dirigió la transformación de su servicio de información en línea en un conjunto de ofertas digitales y SaaS habilitadas para IA. Scott se incorporó en enero de 2012 y fue nombrado miembro del Consejo en octubre de 2012. Ingeniero de profesión, comenzó su carrera como becario y profesor en la Universidad de Cambridge antes de pasar a la industria, donde trabajó más de 20 años como consultor en el sector del medio ambiente construido. Shirley Bailey-Wood fue nombrada Directora de BSI Information Solutions en diciembre de 2014, siendo Directora de Publicaciones de BSI desde 2011. Shirley es responsable del liderazgo y desarrollo estratégico de BSI Standards Limited. Shirley se unió a BSI en 2004 como Directora de Operaciones para la División de Estándares, responsable del desarrollo de la cartera de estándares y la entrega de contenido relevante para el mercado. Shirley tiene una amplia experiencia en el sector de publicaciones e información, con cargos anteriores como Vicepresidente Ejecutivo de la División de Ciencias de la Vida y Química de Thomson Scientific; Director de Ventas y Marketing de Maxwell Communications (The Thomson Corporation) y Científico de la Información en el Grupo Glaxo. Pietro was appointed in August 2014 and brings extensive experience of Assurance, Inspection and Consulting services having spent 14 years at Bureau Veritas in senior strategic and international operational roles. Prior to BSI he was in professional services with Oliver Wyman, formerly Mercer Management Consulting where he was a partner in their Paris office. Mechanical Engineer by background, he started his career in industrial engineering with Halliburton, formerly Brown & Root Vickers Ltd.

Manuela was appointed in July 2018, having joined BSI in April 2017 to head up its healthcare sector strategy as Managing Director of Healthcare. Manuela has over twenty years of leadership experience in the global life sciences sector including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotech, and other related fields. Her extensive experience includes positions as Managing Director, NovaPrep and Lab Services at Novacyt; Group Commercial Director, Johnson Matthey/Macfarlan Smith; and Director positions at Johnson & Johnson/Janssen and Boehringer Ingelheim. Manuela worked internationally in cancer research prior to her corporate career.

Harold was appointed in February 2019, having been leading P&Ls and growth initiatives across various geographies and business units for the previous two decades, at country and regional levels. Harold started his career in sales and marketing with GE Healthcare, before joining International SOS where he undertook a variety of senior leadership roles, including Regional Managing Director for Asia. Harold brings deep experience of the Asia Pacific region alongside his sales, marketing and commercial leadership expertise.

Alison was appointed in April 2020. She has had extensive HR and leadership experience within complex listed global businesses in APAC, EMEA and North America such as Experian plc, Orica Limited, Rolls Royce plc, BAe Systems, Cabot Inc and Brambles Limited. She brings direct experience of many of our key sectors spanning Aerospace, Specialty Chemicals, Manufacturing, Energy and latterly Data and information services where digital skills are a key feature. 

Darryl was appointed in April 2020. He brings extensive experience of digital transformation where data and technology combine to deliver strategic business advantage. Darryl has held a number of CIO roles within global businesses, most recently as Group CIO for DS Smith plc, a global FTSE100 packaging manufacturer and a leader in sustainability. Darryl brings extensive IT and leadership experience from his time at Amey Group, De La Rue, and the Financial Services Authority.

Anne joined BSI in 2001 following an extensive career in Publishing and stepped up in an interim capacity on 1^st June 2021 from her substantive role as Director of Sectors within the Knowledge Solutions division whilst the search for a permanent appointment is concluded. She has significant experience of BSI, the Knowledge division and standards development.

Magdalena was appointed General Counsel in January 2022, having worked within the BSI legal function since 2017, primarily as Legal Director for Group & Knowledge Solutions. Magdalena commenced her career as a financial broadcast journalist with the BBC, producing and outputting news for programmes including BBC Breakfast, BBC World, the News Channel and Radio 4’s Today programme.

Prior to joining BSI, Magdalena was head of Legal at the Pinewood Studios Group with a particular specialism in media, IP and film finance.

Jonathan was appointed in January 2022. He brings a wealth of experience from global FTSE 100 companies, including WPP and Pearson where he defined and implemented strategies that put clients at the heart of the business and harnessed the potential of digital technology and data. Jonathan started his career in aerospace engineering, before moving to consulting at Heidrick & Struggles and KPMG. He founded an award-winning advisory firm, Tyler Mangan, before moving into corporate leadership roles.

Sara fue nombrada y se incorporó al Consejo en enero de 2022.
