UKCA marking indicates the manufacturer’s claim that a product meets the requirements of relevant Directives and Regulations.
How do I achieve UKCA marking certification?
The UKCA (United Kingdom Conformity Assessment) mark is a legal requirement for certain products placed on the market in Great Britain. Many products require certification from an Approved Body to receive a declaration of conformity and the right to use the UKCA mark. Products requiring independent certification include certain fire suppression, detection, and extinguisher products, certain electronics, home appliances, lifts and lift components, personal protective equipment such as helmets, respiratory devices, safety eyewear, and some construction products.
