Since IATF 16949 was introduced, there continues to be issues arising around developing and implementing corrective actions. Many issues that are addressed by implemented corrective actions end up reoccurring in future audits.
This can/will result in a minor nonconformity escalating into a major nonconformity, certificate suspension and a special audit and all the cost impact. Verifying the effectiveness of the implemented corrective actions is imperative.
