Cybersecurity is critical to business and involves the protection of IT systems and data from cyber threats such as computer-assisted fraud, espionage, sabotage or vandalism.
The Cyber Essentials mark is a cybersecurity certification for enterprises that are embarking on their cybersecurity journey. It is developed as part of Singapore’s Safer Cyberspace Masterplan, CSA's SG Cyber Safe Programme aims to help Singapore enterprises to raise their cybersecurity posture and better protect themselves in the digital domain.
The Cyber Essentials mark serves to recognize that enterprises have put in place good cyber hygiene practices to protect their operations and customers against common cyber-attacks. It is targeted at organizations limited IT and/or cybersecurity expertise and resources aims to enable them to prioritize the cybersecurity measures needed to safeguard their systems and operations from common cyber-attacks.
