BSI asks: What will the food of the future look like?
The global population is expected to reach almost 10 billion by 2050, meaning we’ll need to produce as much as 56% more food. That means exploring new and innovative ways to feed everyone.
From engineering food to be more nutritious, to consuming alternative sources of protein such as crickets, microalgae and cultivated meats, the way we grow, eat and think about food is set to change in the coming years.
