Ensuring the Quality of Primary Medical Care
Urgent Care Standard is one of the sector standards that aligns with Cornerstone as well as NZS 8134. UCS sets out the quality requirements for the provision of accident and medical clinical services as defined by the Royal College of Urgent Care. These services are defined as primary care services that are episodic with a no-appointments system. BSI is approved by the Royal College of Urgent Care (RNZCUC) as a UCS auditing and certification agency. BSI also meets the ACC accreditation requirements for this auditing and certification.
