ISO 50001 Lead Auditor Practitioner qualification includes:
ISO 50001:2018 Requirements (4 hours eLearning)
- Understand what an energy management system is and why it is important to an organization and its benefits
- Learn the terms and definitions used as well as the key concepts and structure of ISO 50001:2018
- Understand the background of ISO 50001:2018 and its intended outcome
- Gain an understanding of the main requirements of ISO 50001:2018
ISO 50001:2018 Lead Auditor (5 days classroom – in-person or virtual)
- Explain the purpose of an EnMS, EnMS standards, management system audit, of third-party certification, and the business benefits of improved energy performance
- Explain the role of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow-up an EnMS audit in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021, as appropriate
- Plan, conduct, report and follow-up an audit of an EnMS to establish conformity (or otherwise) with ISO 50001, and in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021 where appropriate.
