Safety expert, Mr. Frank E. Bird, in his book, “The Property Damage Accident: The Neglected Part of Safety” revealed that with 600 near misses, or 30 cases of property damages, or 10 minor injuries, there will be one major accident. By preventing the recurrence of incidents, the probability of the occurrence of a major accident can thus be greatly reduced.
Under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, the Safety and Health Committee has been entrusted with the responsibility to conduct incident investigation. The objective is to ensure that incidents are prevented from recurrence. To achieve this, a systematic approach is required and this is just the course for you.
