    The Control Plan 1st edition training course provides an overview of how the Control Plan is an integral part of APQP process and a living document evolving to incorporate improvements and lessons learned as they occur and built, according to the various stages of product development (Prototype, Pre- Launch, and Production).

    This one-day course has been designed and developed to provide an overview of the key changes of the AIAG APQP 1st Edition manual and its linkages to APQP 3rd Edition requirements.

    How will I benefit?

    Delegates will benefit by gaining, advancing or update their understanding of
    the AIAG Control Plan 1st Edition and APQP 3rd Edition AIAG reference
    manuals which update and replace the previous version (AIAG APQP and
    Control Plan Manual 2nd Edition).

    • On completion, successful delegates will be able to advance and enhance /
      update their current knowledge and skills regarding the AIAG Control Plan 1st Edition.

      Delegates will have the knowledge to:

      • Identify the activities involved in the Control Plan process.
      • Explain the Control Plan process steps in detail and how they apply to
        different organizations.
      • Explain and discuss examples of the Control Plan process for different
        applications/scenarios.

      Delegates will have the skills to:

      • Become a productive member of a product quality planning team.
      • Apply the steps involved for effective development of a Control Plan
        utilizing Control Plan methodology
    • Anyone involved in APQP activities (either as a team member or leading the activities) or anyone interested in learning more about APQP, and anyone involved in the implementation of IATF 16949.

    • There are no formal prerequisites for this course, however, it is recommended
      that you should have the knowledge to explain ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements and attendance of our IATF 16949 Requirements training courses (or equivalent).
