It specifies operational processes for educational services and focusses on best practices such as strategy, social responsibility, design of curriculum, delivering and evaluating courses. This standard aligns with the International Standard Classification of Education proposed by UNESCO and with the European Quality Assurance Framework for Training (EQAVET). The standard can be implemented by educational organizations and learning service providers.
