How do I get certified to BS 10125 the BSI Kitemark for Vehicle Damage Repair?

BSI Client Manager assessment

If you haven’t already done so, contact BSI to be appointed a Client Manager by emailing (automotive form). First your BSI Client Manager will review your organization’s readiness for assessment by checking if the necessary BS 10125 procedures and controls have been developed in your organization. 

Gap analysis

In order to save you time and money, if you’re not sure whether everything is in place and would like to find out before you embark on applying for a BSI Kitemark licence, we can support you with our optional pre-assessment gap analysis.

We can compare your systems with the requirements of the BS 10125 standard and help identify areas that need attention before we carry out a formal assessment.

Formal assessment

If all the requirements are in place, we will then assess the implementation of the procedures and controls within your organization to make sure that they are working effectively as required for certification.

Assuming successful completion of the initial assessment, you’ll be awarded your BSI Kitemark licence.

The BSI Kitemark is valid for three years. During this time your dedicated BSI Client Manager will pay you regular visits to support your safe, reliable repairs license and ensure that your system remains compliant.
