He is a post graduate Environmental Engineer from IITM having over three decades of experience in the field of Sustainability, Academics, Regulatory, Consulting, Auditing and Training.  He was actively involved in the validation or verification of several carbon projects for CDM, VCS and GS across APAC region - including validation of 2400 MW Gas based power project of Reliance Industries, Samalkot, 340 MW and the 155 MW gas based combined cycle power project of Essar Group, first of its kind e-waste recycling project of Attero Recycling, 100MW wind power project of DLF, Carbon footprint verification for JK Tyres, Carbon footprint verification for Adani Power, New CDM methodology validation for Dow Chemical’s etc.

Ravindra has worked in Information Technology Sector is 22 years taking care of network infrastructure and software applications ranging from design, development and maintenance. Working in BSI since 9 years Ravindra is National Head of IT/ITES Sector Certifications for India; has vast experience in managing global and regional customers and widely travelled to countries like UK, Europe, USA, Costa Rica, Argentina, Prague, Mauritius, Australia, Philippines, Bangkok and Malaysia. Ravindra’s educational background covers Master of Science in Software Engineering, Bachelors of Engineering in Industrial and Production, IRCA Lead Auditor for ISO 27001, ISO 20001, ISO 22301, ISO 9001. Also Lead tutor for STAR Certification, BS 10012

He is the Business Head of BSI India West, Part of India Leadership Team, International Automotive Auditor, Global Witness Auditor and Veto Reviewer. He comes with an experience of 26 years, where he had spent 8 years with Automotive Industry and 18 years in Certification & Trainings. He is Production Engineer and Lead Assessor for ISO/TS 16949, ISO 22301, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Prior to BSI, he has worked with AQSR (American Quality System Registrar) and SGS (Society de General Surveillance) and handled the responsibilities like Regional Operations Manager, Automotive Head- India & IMETA. He is with BSI since 2009, taking care of P&L for BSI India West.
