Certification to BS 11000 Collaborative Business Relationships

You can collaborate better and more often with quality business partners when you have BS 11000 certification. Demonstrate that you understand how to get the best out of business relationships, sharing resources, opportunities and successes. And as an organization certified to BS 11000 you can enjoy increased status as a business primed for collaboration.

How to get certified to BS 11000

We make the certification process simple. After we have received your application we appoint a client manager who will guide you and your business through the following steps.

  1. Gap analysis
This is an optional pre-assessment service where we take a closer look at your existing collaborative business relationships system and compare it with BS 11000 requirements. This helps identify areas that need more work before we carry out a formal assessment, saving you time and money.

  2. Formal assessment
This happens in two stages. First we review your organization’s preparedness for assessment by checking if the necessary BS 11000 procedures and controls have been developed. We will share the details of our findings with you so that if we find gaps, you can close them. If all the requirements are in place, we will then assess the implementation of the procedures and controls within your organization to make sure that they are working effectively as required for certification.

  3. Certification and beyond
When you have passed the formal assessment you will receive an BS 11000 certificate, which is valid for three years. Your client manager will stay in touch during this time, paying you regular visits to make sure your system doesn’t just remain compliant, but that it continually improves.

How our BSI verification works

The PAS 2060 standard specifies a four-stage process to demonstrate carbon neutrality. This involves:

  • Assessment of GHG emissions based on accurate measurement data
  • Reduction of emissions through a target-driven carbon management plan
  • Offsetting of excess emissions, often by purchasing carbon credits
  • Documentation and verification through qualifying explanatory statements and public disclosure.

Through independent BSI verification to PAS 2060, your business can demonstrate that it has met these requirements. You can show you are serious about sustainability, responding to the challenge of climate change and contributing to the UNSDGs, while enhancing your organization’s performance and resilience.
