What’s this webinar about?
In this opening session of BSI’s Global Built Environment Summit we aim to help the construction sector better understand the latest happenings in the world of health, safety and wellbeing and the new supporting legislation and standards. In what amounts to the biggest set of wholesale building regulation changes in the last 40 years we will specifically focus on the impact of the Building Safety Act and the formation and operation of the new Building Safety Regulator who will oversee it. We will also explore what this new regime is likely to mean for the construction product sector in terms of their testing, certification and placing on the market. The session will conclude with a presentation on our new PAS that sets out best practice for designing a truly inclusive built environment that addresses the needs of people with neurocognitive profiles.
