Alexandra Bolton -Executive Director – Centre for Digital Built Britain

Alexandra Bolton has been CDBB's Executive Director since the Centre came to Cambridge in August 2017. She works across CDBB’s programmes, including the National Digital Twin Programme and the Construction Innovation Hub, to advance the digital transformation of the built environment in order to improve people’s quality of life. She joined the University of Cambridge in 2014, where she previously held roles within the Department of Engineering. She holds an MA in Chemical Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law.

David Churcher – Lead Technical author for BS EN ISO 19650-3

David Churcher is Director of Hitherwood Consulting with degrees in civil engineering and business administration. He has been involved in the development of BIM process standards since 2011, initially in the UK and latterly at international level. He is the technical author of ISO 19650 Part 3, having also been heavily involved in the authoring and development of ISO 19650 Parts 1 and 2. He is also co-editor of the UK BIM Framework Guidance and a member of BSI’s technical committee for construction design, modelling and data exchange (B/555).

Dr Anne Kemp OBE – Chair of the UK BIM Alliance, Deputy Chair of B/555

Dr Anne Kemp OBE has 25 years of experience and is Fellow and Technical Director for Digital Engineering (DE) and BIM Strategy and Development, at Atkins, part of the SNC Lavalin Group, providing advice to some of the UK’s major infrastructure clients, including Crossrail, Eight2o, HS2 and Heathrow. She is Chair of the UK BIM Alliance (which hosts BuildingSMART UKI), and convenor of the International Standards Organisation committee for ISO19650, which has evolved out of the UK’s BIM Level 2, and the committee developing the strategy for global standards focused on managing information for the whole life cycle of infrastructure projects.

Mark Enzer - Head of the National Digital Twin programme (NDTp) at CDBB and CTO of Mott MacDonald

Mark is a keen champion of innovation in the context of collaborative delivery models and he is particularly interested in the transformation of the infrastructure industry, including: systems-thinking, digital transformation, connected digital twins, information infrastructure, low-carbon sustainable solutions and the circular economy in the built environment.

As the Head of the NDTp within the Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB), Mark is contributing to the leadership of this ambitious programme. As Mott MacDonald’s Chief Technical Officer, Mark is accountable to the Executive Board for technical excellence across the Group. In addition, he is the Digital Transformation workstream lead on “Project 13” for the Infrastructure Client Group, which represents the UK’s major infrastructure client organisations. Mark was the Lead Author of the Infrastructure Carbon Review, published by HM Treasury.
