Developing the highest quality batteries that are safe, reliable, and perform as expected is a complex challenge in today’s competitive global market. With a number of risks that batteries pose including fire and harm to people, it can be difficult to evidence inherently safe products. At BSI we provide testing and certification services for safety, performance, and transport purposes.
Our team of experts offer a range of services to manufacturers, designers, and buyers in the industry. We provide test reports, market access as well as differentiation using our own Kitemark certification.
What we test and certify
Battery types that BSI can cover are:
- Secondary (rechargeable) portable batteries and cells (Lithium and Nickel technologies)
- Secondary industrial batteries and cells (Lithium technologies)
