Potential failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) is an established risk assessment methodology. It allows you to systematically identify the potential failure of products or processes, assess the impact of the failure and develop action plans for mitigation.

FMEA is applicable to products design and manufacturing processes development.  A well-developed and comprehensive FMEA is proven to greatly reduce the cost of poor quality and will continually improve the quality of processes or products.

This one-day course is based on AIAG’s FMEA Reference Manual (4th Edition) and the core tools requirements in IATF 16949.
