BSI is globally recognised as an independent distributing standards organisation serving both the private and public sectors. BSI's standards are formed by committees representing key interests.
BS 0 is the standard that governs the way BSI produces standards. BS 0, was last revised and published in 2011 and came into effect on 1 January 2012.
The standard is supplemented by the BSI Guide to standardisation, a document in several sections designed to offer practical information to members of BSI's technical committees about standards and how we make them. It is envisaged that these guidelines will be updated regularly to reflect changes in circumstances, policies and procedures.
