Kyocera Document Solutions Asia Limited was awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification with the scope "The provision of Enterprise Content Management and Business Process Outsourcing services consisting of sales and supporting services of document solutions and managed document services".
Mr Enoch Lee, the General Manager of BSI Hong Kong presented the certificate to Mr Takuma Kimura, the President of Kyocera on 9 January 2019. Mr Lee commented that "Successfully obtained the ISO 27001 Information Security Management certificate, demonstrates that Kyocera has taken Information security into the heart of their business, and Kyocera has reached the international level in the field of information security management. It also demonstrates that Kyocera has properly identified the information security risks faced by the corporation, and has taken appropriate control measures to manage and even eliminate these risks. With this internationally recognized ISO Standard certificate, it would strength the confidence of Kyocera's customers in using their services, as they could be assured that their confidential data has been firmly protected."
