Available across our full range of ISO management system qualifications, this final step provides you the opportunity to get your relevant Professional Auditor qualification certified.
Achieving certified status demonstrates that you have applied everything that you have learned in practice and in your work.
On successful completion, you’ll receive a Certified Professional BSI Mark of Trust that can be shared across your network of contacts.
Unlike the Practitioner and Professional levels of the Auditor qualification pathway, there are no training and assessment components to complete to achieve Certified Professional.
You’ll need to have achieved an Auditor Professional qualification and have conducted at least three internal audits (Internal Auditor Certified Professional) or three full management systems audits (Lead Auditor Certified Professional) within the last three years.
Certified Professional status has a validity window of three years – at the end of this window, you will be required to reapply.
Prerequisites
Completion of an Auditor Professional qualification to apply to have your qualification certified.
You will need to complete an application form that outlines your auditing experience and training and details of the three internal audits (Internal Auditor Certified Professional) or three full management systems audits (Lead Auditor Certified Professional) that you have conducted within the last three years.
For the most recent audit, you need to provide an audit log that captures the feedback from your line manager or audit client for whom you conducted the audit.
You will also need to provide an annual declaration stating that you have completed at least 15 hours of relevant CPD per year to keep your Certified Professional status active.
