BSI, the business improvement and standards company, today announced the appointment of Dame Polly Courtice as a Non-Executive Director to the BSI Board with immediate effect.
Polly was Founder Director of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (1988 – 2021) and is Senior Independent Non-Executive Director at Anglian Water. She is a member of the Supervisory Board of Mercedes-Benz and a Director of Jupiter Green Investment Trust. Polly is also on the sustainability advisory boards for several leading companies including Terra Firma Investment Management Ltd and AstraZeneca.
In addition to being the recipient of numerous honours and awards over the years for her contribution to sustainability, Polly is a member of the judging panel for the Queen’s Award for Sustainable Development and Chair of the Faculty of Board of Engineering at the University of Cambridge.
