While going greener poses complex challenges globally, for packaging firm SGK it revealed opportunities to drive positive change throughout its operations, supply chains, and community presence across 60+ sites worldwide.
SGK needed a trusted partner with experience and qualifications to benchmark its current operations, come up with a plan for change, and help implementation. Split across two phases, BSI’s work encompassed several key deliverables which included: evaluating relevant international standards, establishing environmental performance and impact data baselines, facilitating stakeholder interviews and workshops, and developing attainable KPI and SMART targets.
