What is carbon footprint verification (CFV)?
In order to establish your carbon footprint you need to collect data on emissions caused by your organization’s activities, products and services. Once this data has been collected we can independently verify the accuracy of this data and your calculated carbon footprint. Through this verification process, you’ll understand the level of emissions you need to reduce and/or offset in or to become ‘carbon neutral’.
Carbon footprint verification is fundamental to provide credibility, reassuring internal and external stakeholders that the carbon footprint of your organization is accurate, complete and compliant with the major GHG reporting standards.
Relying on other businesses to tackle climate change is no longer an option. Each organization must take responsibility for reducing their emissions, and verifying your organization's carbon footprint is a great first step to working towards this.
