This qualification allows AIMS auditors to lead, plan, manage and implement an Audit Plan and gain the understanding of the concepts which underpin ISO/IEC 22989:2023 as a normative reference in ISO/IEC 42001:2023. It also empowers them to give practical help and information to those who are working towards certification and also provides the knowledge and skill required to carry out 2nd party auditing (suppliers and subcontractors).

On successful completion of the qualification, you’ll receive a BSI Mark of Trust that can be shared within your organisation and across your network of contacts.

In addition, you will be awarded an internationally recognized BSI training course certificate for each of the completed courses and exams.

ISO/IEC 22989:2023 Understanding AI Concepts and Terminology (4hr eLearning)

ISO/IEC 22989:2023 is a normative reference in ISO/IEC 42001:2023. Understanding the concepts that underpin this standard is vital in its effective deployment into an organization. This course will provide you with an understanding of the main concepts of AI and AI systems to complement your knowledge of management system standards.

ISO/IEC 42001:2023 Requirements (1 day classroom – in-person or virtual)

Identify the structure and requirements of an effective AIMS and what this means for you. Gain a thorough understanding of the history and development of ISO 42001:2023, key terms, definitions and the ISO harmonized structure. You’ll learn to interpret and apply the key concepts and principles of the standard to existing processes within your organization.

ISO/IEC 42001:2023 Lead Auditor (5 days classroom – in-person or virtual)

This five-day intensive course trains AIMS auditors to lead, plan, manage and implement an Audit Plan. It also empowers them to give practical help and information to those who are working towards certification and also provides the knowledge and skill required to carry out 2nd party auditing (suppliers and subcontractors).
- Those wishing to Lead audits of AIMS in accordance with ISO/IEC 42001:2023 (either as a 2nd party, or 3rd party auditor)
- Those wishing to learn about effective audit practices
- Security and quality professionals, existing information security auditors who wish to expand their auditing skills
- Consultants who wish to provide advice on ISO/IEC 42001:2023 AIMS Auditing
Each module is followed by a mandatory online examination. Delegates must pass the examinations to be awarded the qualification.
