How your qualification is assessed
There’s an exam at each stage to test your understanding. In some cases, if you can demonstrate previous learning or expertise, you may be eligible to have this prior learning recognized.

How you can become certified
You’ll submit an application form listing example audits. Your line manager or audit client will be asked to provide feedback based on an observation or participation in an audit. We’ll also ask you for evidence of CPD to support your ongoing learning and development.

By successfully completing set courses and assessments, you’ll earn a BSI mark of trust, assuring confidence in your auditing expertise.

We have a global team of auditors who deliver thousands of audit days a year, and we’ve used that expertise to develop BSI’s auditor qualifications.

We deliver over 230,000 audit days a year on-site and virtually.

Last year we delivered 50,000 auditor training days on-site, in virtual classrooms and in convenient locations.
