The new standard, ISO 44001 is based on the standard you’re already certified to. Developed by people from various industries around the world, ISO 44001 has many of the same requirements but how the structure of the standard has changed. ISO standards are now written to align with Annex SL (also known as the High Level Structure). By doing this, it makes it easier for organizations of all sizes to implement multiple management systems, which saves both time and money.
