Ruler's Representative Court of the Eastern Region achieves certification to ISO 27001

The Ruler’s Representative Court of the Eastern Region has been awarded an ISO 27001:2013 Certification for Information Security Management System (ISMS) from the British Standards Institution (BSI). Mr. Yahya El Olabi, General Manager of BSI Group Abu Dhabi & KSA, was present with his team to handover the award to H.E Matar Salem Aldheheri, Executive Director of Support Services.

H.E. Matar Salem Aldheheri, Executive Director of Support Services stated that achieving ISO 27001 Certification for an Information Security Management System shows the commitment of the Ruler's Representative Court of the Eastern Region to implement the highest standards of information security and risk management.

H.E. Matar Salem Aldheheri congratulated all the Ruler’s Representative Court employees and in particular the IT department on receiving the certification “this achievement, which we are proud and privileged to receive is a translation of the efforts and contributions made by all employees and a proof of their continuous improvements in line with global best practices.”

For his part, Mr. Yahya El Olabi General Manager of BSI Group congratulated the Ruler’s Representative Court on achieving ISO 27001 certification, he added “I am delighted to celebrate this achievement with you today. I applaud the Ruler’s Representative Court of Eastern Region for leading by example with their commitment in achieving compliance to ISO 27001, the leading global standard for information security management’.
