Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning Program awarded an ISO Certification for IT Service Management System, ISO/IEC 20000-1
Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning Program (MBRSLP) has achieved certification to ISO/IEC 20000-1. The MBRSLP is an initiative that aims to raise the standards of education in the United Arab Emirates to meet the best international standards. The certificate was handed to H.E Marwan Al Sawaleh - Undersecretary, Ministry of Education and H.E Mohammed Gheyath - Director General, Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning Program by Mr Ahmad Al Khatib, General Manager for Assurance, BSI Middle East and Africa.
ISO/IEC 20000-1 is the first internationally recognized standard for an IT service management system (ITSM). This acknowledges MBRSLP high levels of efficiency in IT service provision and their ability to continuously improve the delivery of IT services for their customers and their organizations requirements.MBRSLP is one of the most ambitious national education initiatives and aims to raise the standards of education in the UAE.
Ahmad Al Khatib, General Manager for Assurance, BSI MEA, said "this great achievement is a strong stepping stone for Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning Program towards excellence and innovation. MBRSLP is a great example of smart education initiatives worldwide as it applies state-of-the-art technologies in the classroom. MBRSLP currently covers 208 schools with 34,500 students and more than 5000 teachers enrolled nationwide.
