Vodafone Qatar receives top global Business Continuity certification ISO 22301
Following an extensive evaluation process, Vodafone Qatar today announced that it has been awarded the prestigious ISO 22301:2012 Business Continuity Management certification, demonstrating the company's commitment to highest levels of reliability and security in its business and technical operations.
The ISO 22301:2012 certification, awarded by the British Standards Institution (BSI), provides an international best practice framework for identifying potential threats, evaluating their impact, and developing capability to minimize the impact of business disruption. Today's announcement demonstrates to customers, partners and shareholders that Vodafone Qatar has successfully implemented a strong Business Continuity Management System and is equipped to continually strengthen its processes in line with global best practice over time.
His Excellency Ajay Sharma, Her Majesty's Ambassador to Qatar from the UK, presented the certificate to Vodafone Qatar Chief Executive Officer, Ian Gray, at a ceremony held at the company's Al Safwa Center, in the presence of Vodafone executives and BSI General Manager, Omar Rashid.

BSI evaluated more than 100 aspects of the business before awarding this certification, including customer service and care, risk assessment, human resources, and vendor governance. This certification applies not only to Vodafone Qatar's offices, but to retail and franchise outlets across Qatar.
