The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS): had been certified to ISO 27001:2013 for Information Security

Abu Dhabi - The National Bureau of Statistics had organized an official ceremony on Sunday 16 March 2914 on the occasion of receiving the international quality certificate 27001:2013 through the British Standards Institution (BSI);  the official representatives of BSI had officially handover the certificate for the NBS.

This new achievement comes in line with the initiatives launched by (NBS) to upgrade its excellence and quality standards according to international recognized ISO standards and certificates related to official statistics. This is the third ISO standard beside ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 10015 for training, that NBS achieved in its statistical quality project and journey of corporate excellence, launched by the Center as part of its strategy and its operational plans and responsiveness to the Government policy in the field of organizational excellence, and upgrading its capacity to build the national statistical system for UAE according to a high professional standards, and to provide a highly provisional statistical services for users.
